JL Audio's Stealthbox® solution installs inside the forward section of the factory center console for complete invisibility. Intense, up-front bass is produced by a down-firing 10-inch subwoofer in a sealed enclosure. The console's functionality and storage space is unaffected by the Stealthbox®.

The Hard Data: Contains one 10W1v3-2 in a sealed enclosure. 300 watt power handling. Wired for 2 ohm mono. Stealthbox® installs inside forward-most portion of front center console and replaces the OEM “subwoofer” system, if vehicle is so equipped.

Trucks and SUVs equipped with rear-facing climate vents on the back of the center console feature internal air ducting that physically blocks the space required for this enclosure.
- • Can I install this model if my vehicle features a front 40/20/40 split-bench seat layout?
No. This specific fiberglass enclosure is engineered exclusively for 2007–2013/14 GM full-size trucks and SUVs equipped with standalone front bucket seats and a full-length floor console.
- • What final wiring load impedance does this single 10-inch subwoofer provide?
The enclosure houses a single 10W1v3-2 subwoofer pre-wired to the external terminal connections to present a final 2-ohm mono load to your amplifier.

Yes. To anchor the enclosure securely against kinetic movement and safety hazards, the installation process requires drilling two mounting holes through the transmission hump floor pan.

The intense energy of the down-firing subwoofer can cause the factory plastic console pieces or wiring harnesses to vibrate against each other. Applying a layer of closed-cell foam tape or butyl damping material to interior contact points resolves the noise.
